Course Description:
This is an advanced writing seminar that will introduce students to types of legal documents that are not covered in the first-year curriculum. Approximately half the course emphasizes a transactional practice and half the course emphasizes a litigation practice. Students will write a client advice letter, a demand letter, a complaint, portions of a contract, and a statute. Classes will consist of a combination of lecture and interactive exercises. Students will receive individualized feedback on all assignments.
