Course Description:
This class will meet for 6 weeks on Tuesdays from 3:40pm - 5:40 pm beginning October 17.

This course will provide an opportunity for students to experience practical applications in probate and trust matters. Students will work through the processes of opening a probate proceeding (with and without a Will), securing appointment of a guardian and conservator for an incapacitated adult and dealing with controversies in probate and trust matters. Students will use the Arizona Probate Code and Arizona Probate Rules and will use the Arizona Probate Code Practice Manual to identify issues and prepare pleadings. Students will work through mock fact patterns to identify issues and develop case strategies.
