Legal research is an integral part of what lawyers do. In this 6-week course you will learn how to evaluate sources of information, implement efficient research strategies, and find relevant legal authority for success in law practice. The course is intended to be a gateway course to more advanced legal research topics and is particularly relevant to those students who (1) want an in-depth refresher of the legal research concepts covered in the 1L courses or (2) are transfer students. Research skills assessed on the NextGen Bar Exam will be a point of focus in the class.
