Course Description:
This is a year-long class operating in the fall 2022, and spring 2023 semesters.
This Research Cluster will focus on Native Vote – Election Protection for the 2022 election cycle. Students will discuss current election issues and cases, assist with the Native Vote Election Protection Project, and conduct research on issues that will be included in the 2022 Arizona Native Vote Election Protection Report. Small group meetings will be scheduled during the semester, and students will participate in the Native Vote-Election Protection Trainings as well as assist with election protection on Election Day. This Research Cluster will be limited to 8 students who will be selected through an application process. Students interested in applying to enroll in this Cluster should email Patty Ferguson-Bohnee at pafergus@asu.edu to express interest.
