Course Description:
This course studies law, policy and problem solving in the context of the sports industry, at all levels. Students will be exposed to professional, amateur and international sports law issues, examining those issues in a problem-focused manner. The lectures for this course will be given by a variety of industry professionals, and each section will focus on a specific topic within the realm of sports. The requirements of the course are designed to challenge the students. Students will be expected to think about, and not just read and view, the materials assigned.
