Join Victor Peskin, Associate Professor of ASU’s School of Global Studies, as he leads a discussion on the political turmoil that faces the International Criminal Court (ICC) over its exclusive prosecutorial focus on African armed conflicts and the indictments against the Kenyan and Sudanese presidents.
The Kenyan Parliament recently voted to withdraw as an ICC member state, potentially imperiling the future of this new experiment to institutionalize international law.
Brief readings on the topic will be distributed ahead of time.
