Complete Description:
Owen D. Jones, New York Alumni Chancellor's Professor of Law and Professor of Biological Sciences at Vanderbilt University, will deliver the lecture, "Law, Brain Sciences, and Our Near Neuro-Future." Professor Jones will highlight both new developments, such as advances in brain scanning technologies, and controversial issues, such as whether and how brain sciences should affect sentencing decisions. The lecture is hosted by the Center for Law, Science & Innovation.
