Abstract

This article is the sixth annual review of the decisions of the Arizona Supreme Court, covering the period from August 1, 2002, to July 31, 2003. Extensive substantive treatment of all of the decisions is provided in this annual review by student-authored works. Preceding the analytical treatment of the court decisions, a summary statistical analysis of the past year is also provided, with comparative observations over the now six year period of these annual reviews. This combination of comprehensive analytical assessment with substantial statistical scrutiny of the Arizona Supreme Court in annual reviews is nearly unique in the country. Only the Indiana Supreme Court receives similar attention.
