Course Description:
This class will meet June 8 - July 2 on Mondays and Thursdays from 4:00 pm - 6:30 pm.

There must be at least 10 students enrolled in order for the class to be taught.

This course provides students with the opportunity to learn the basic principles of contract drafting. This course will also introduce students to the role of the transactional lawyer, contract interpretation, and negotiation. Emphasis will be placed on drafting contractual agreements that effectuate clients’ needs and anticipate potential legal problems. Students will be required to draft a series of written contracts, and may also be required to perform research relating to the drafting of those contracts.

This course is open to JD candidates only.
