Larry Wulkan is a litigation partner with the Phoenix office of the national law firm Stinson Leonard Street, LLP. Since 2001, Professor Wulkan has litigated a broad variety of complex civil cases, with an emphasis on representing clients in cases involving alleged civil rights violations and municipal liability. In addition, Professor Wulkan has represented a Fortune 50 company in defense of a medication alleged to have certain side-effects and a Fortune 500 company before the Arizona Supreme Court in a medical malpractice action. Professor Wulkan’s appellate experience includes appearances before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, Arizona Supreme Court and Arizona Court of Appeals (Divisions One and Two). Professor Wulkan is personally involved in all aspects of his clients' cases, from pre-suit investigation and filing, through briefing, hearings, and depositions, to trial and appeal.
Licensed to practice in Arizona, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth and Tenth Circuits, and the United States Supreme Court, Professor Wulkan is also is listed in Super Lawyers as a Southwest Rising Star for Civil Rights/First Amendment litigation, an honor reserved for no more than 2.5% of the lawyers in a state.
