Robert Schulman

Until his recent retirement, Robert S. Schulman was a senior litigation partner in the Los Angeles office of Fulbright and Jaworski, one of the world’s largest international law firms. His practice which included trials in several states and abroad concentrated on the representation of Big 4 accounting firms and international insurance brokerages in complex commercial litigation. While at Fulbright, Professor Schulman headed its firm-wide Accounting Profession Committee, as well as serving on its Leadership Committee.

His accomplishments have been recognized by, among other things, his selection by the authoritative The Chambers Guide as one of the State of California’s top 13 commercial litigators, as a “Southern California Super Lawyer” (multiple years), one of “The Best lawyers in America” (multiple years), one of “The Best in the United States” in commercial litigation (multiple years), and as one of the few holding the Martindale-Hubbell “AV-Preeminent” rating.

Professor Schulman served as Deputy Attorney General of New Jersey, pro bono General Counsel of DeafWest Theatre, and as a member of the Mayor’s Committee to establish an Arizona State University campus in Payson Arizona.

Schulman was admitted to practice in the states of New Jersey and California, as well as several pro haec vice admissions.
