Clinical Legal Education Program
Before joining the College of Law, Victoria Ames was an attorney with Jaburg and Wilk, specializing in commercial litigation, business law, and employment law.
While in law school, she was on the Arizona State Law Journal, was a Willard H. Pedrick Scholar, and won the John J. Ross Memorial Award for Excellence in Business Law. She also was a law clerk for the Hon. Michael J. Brown in the Arizona Court of Appeals, a summer associate at Jaburg & Wilk, and a legal intern at the Arizona Attorney General’s Office and at Cold Stone Creamery International in Scottsdale.
Prior to law school, she worked for Make-A-Wish Foundation International, serving as the Chief Executive Officer from 2001-2007. She was in charge of international contracts, fundraising and franchise development, establishing new franchises in Singapore, Italy, Ireland, Korea, Portugal, Argentina, France, Mexico, and the United Arab Emirates.
