Howard R. Cabot is widely recognized nationally as a leading courtroom lawyer in complex and sophisticated litigation, including  class actions, securities, intellectual property and business litigation.

A Fellow in the prestigious American College of Trial Lawyers and member of the  National Institute for Trial Advocacy, Professor Cabot has tried numerous cases around the country.  He is admitted to practice in Arizona, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Military Commissions Judicial Tribunal Guantanamo Bay and federal courts nationwide, including Circuit Courts of Appeal and the United States Supreme Court.  He is listed in Chambers USA, "America’s Leading Business Lawyers,” The Best Lawyers in America, Southwest Super Lawyers,  Arizona Magazine, "Top Attorneys in Arizona,"  IP Star, Managing IP, Who's Who in American Law, and other lawyer ranking publications.

Professor Cabot has served as a Judge Pro Tem on the Arizona Court of Appeals and currently serves as a Judge Pro Tem in the Maricopa County Superior Court.  He is a frequent speaker on a variety of topics, including, trial practice, management of complex litigation, professionalism, public interest work and use of military trials during times of war and conflict.
