Debora L. Verdier, a Shareholder and Director at Sanders & Parks, P.C., is committed to efficiently and effectively representing large and small businesses in various commercial matters, including unfair competition, trade secret, contract disputes and other business torts.
Professor Verdier has significant experience in handling large and complex litigation matters in the areas of antitrust, copyright, and healthcare reimbursement. She has also litigated disputes associated with the dissolution of businesses or disputes among existing business partners, including claims of breach of contract, mismanagement, fraudulent misrepresentation, and breach of fiduciary and statutory duties. In addition to representing business clients in litigation, she counsels companies with an eye toward preventing disputes and providing pre-litigation solutions.
Professor Verdier also has experience in defending employers against EEOC charges and in litigating employment disputes. She has defended employees in state and federal court against claims for race-based, gender-based, and age-based discrimination and retaliation. Ms. Verdier was pleased to be included in the list of “Top Lawyers” in the Labor and Employment Category in the AZ Business magazine (March/April 2011). She currently serves as a Judge Pro Tem in the Maricopa County Superior Court.
