Jenny Holsman Tetreault serves as Corporate Counsel for
Rural/Metro Corporation. She is responsible for all company legal work in the
West Zone, including Washington, Oregon, California, Colorado, South Dakota and
Nebraska. In this capacity, she handles contract drafting and negotiation, litigation,
employment and labor issues, and mergers and acquisitions for the company.
Since 2011, Jenny has also served as Of Counsel at Struck, Wieneke and Love,
PLC, and practices in the area of civil rights and constitutional defense, and
governmental liability.
Prior to joining Rural/Metro Corporation, Jennifer served as
the Executive Director of Operations for the ASU Alumni Association and served
in this capacity from 2007-2012. From 2003-2011, Jenny worked as a litigation
defense attorney (2003-2007) and Of Counsel (2007-2011) at Jones, Skelton &
Hochuli, P.L.C., also practicing in the municipal liability practice group. She is
admitted in Arizona, the U.S. District Courts for Arizona and the District of
Columbia, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Mrs.
Holsman Tetreault is a graduate of Arizona State University (magna cum laude
and Barrett Honors College). She earned both her masters and law degrees from
Syracuse University, where she was named the Outstanding Law School Graduate
upon her graduation. While at Syracuse, she served on The Journal of International Law and Commerce and The Syracuse Law and Technology Journal, and was a member of the Sojourner
Truth National Appellate Team and Thomas Tang National Appellate Teams.
Jenny has published several articles
including Arizona Redistricting Battle
Over for Now (Maricopa Lawyer, 2006), Hurricane
Katrina: Lessons Learned (Maricopa Lawyer, 2005), and Airport Security: Is an International Agreement Needed? (Syracuse
Journal of Law and Technology, 2003).
Mrs. Holsman Tetreault is very active in the community and
serves on the Board of Directors for Valley Leadership, the Children’s Action
Alliance, Downtown YMCA, Generation United/United Way, and the Tempe Community
Council. Jenny is also active with the Sandra Day O’Connor Inn of Court,
Association of Corporate Counsel, Maricopa County Bar Association, and the
Arizona Women Lawyers Association. In recognition for her work in the
community, Jenny was named one of the Phoenix Business Journal’s Forty Under 40
in 2009, graduated from Valley Leadership in 2010, and was a Flinn-Brown Civic
Leadership Academy Fellow in 2011.
She has served as a faculty member
at the Sandra Day O’Connor School of Law since 2010 and teaches U.S. Law and
Legal Analysis.
