Jeffrey Goulder is a litigation partner with the Phoenix office of the national law firm, Stinson Morrison Hecker, LLP. Since 1985, Professor Goulder has litigated a broad variety of complex civil cases, including claims in excess of $20 million. In addition to his ongoing representation of several Phoenix-based businesses, he also handles intellectual property litigation nationally for a Fortune 50 technology company, construction, development, and leasing litigation for two of the nation’s largest grocery store chains, and various litigation matters for several Valley-based and national homebuilding firms. Additionally, Professor Goulder has significant experience representing regional and national banks in litigation throughout Arizona. He is the chairman of the litigation department in the Phoenix office and has served as a member of Stinson Morrison Hecker’s national management committee.
Professor Goulder frequently tries cases in Arizona state and federal courts, and has significant experience in arbitration, including successfully trying a $10 million specific performance claim before the American Arbitration Association. In addition, he has also successfully tried cases in Washington, D.C., and California. He is active with the ABA Litigation Section, and the Arizona Bar Association’s Construction Law Section. He is a frequent author and speaker on legal topics, including real estate and construction litigation, and eDiscovery.
Licensed to practice in Arizona and at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, Professor Goulder also is listed is Best Lawyers in America in several litigation categories, including Banking & Finance, Commercial, and Construction. He has also been recognized as a Southwest Super Lawyer for litigation. He is immediate past Chair of the Boys and Girls Club of Metropolitan Phoenix.
