Michael Gordon

Visiting Clinical Professor Gordon earned his J.D. summa cum laude from the University of Arizona in 1989, where he was Note Editor of the Arizona Law Review and was elected to the Order of the Coif. After law school, he clerked for judge William D. Browning of the United States District Court for the District of Arizona, then practiced construction litigation with Lewis & Roca before joining the Federal Public Defender's office in Phoenix to practice federal criminal defense, including appellate criminal litigation. He previously served as a legal Research Instructor at Pima Community College in Tucson, taught Legal Issues in the American Political Process at ASU's College of Social Sciences, and taught Legal Analysis and Legal Reasoning as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Arizona. He joined the Law School Clinic as a Visiting Clinical Professor in 1998.
