Teresa Forst has had a career in law and as an entrepreneur. During her 20 years of practicing law, she was a labor and employment lawyer and ultimately became the managing partner of the Phoenix office of a major international law firm—Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner. She also served on the firm’s international executive committee. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Ms. Forst was in human resources for Shell Oil Company.
Ms. Forst left the practice of law in 2008 to work at ASU where she helped build the Board of Directors for the ASU Foundation and the Global Institute of Sustainability. Thereafter, she worked in innovation for three different startup companies in a variety of industries including solar, sustainable agriculture, and advanced surface technologies that repel moisture, bacteria, and pathogens.
