Jim Van Wicklin joined the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law in 2013.
He is charged with advancement, development, alumni relations, and fundraising for the college.
His most recent project is helping secure the funds necessary for the new Arizona Center for Law and Society, scheduled to open in fall 2016.
Jim began his fundraising career 15 years ago with the Muscular Dystrophy association and has more than 10 years of higher education fundraising experience, most recently with the University of South Florida, where he was part of a team of fundraisers who helped raise $600 million.
During that time, Jim helped secure funding for a $45 million state-of-the-art music building and funding for a new $60 million college of medicine building.
In addition to successful building fundraising, he has also helped secure gifts for more than 50 endowed scholarships, numerous professorships and fellowships, along with various other much-needed projects.
