Charles K. Ayers is a Shareholder and
President of Ayers & Brown, P.C., in Phoenix. Professor Ayers has practiced
law for 37 years, first as an Associate and Partner at Snell & Wilmer until
1985, and then as the owner of his own firm. His practice focuses on real
estate litigation, primarily eminent domain, real estate transactions, and
general commercial transactions and litigation.
In addition to his private practice, Professor
Ayers serves as a hearing officer for the Maricopa County Department of
Planning and Development, and was the original author of Chapter 26 (Review of
Local Governmental Decisions) of the Arizona
Appellate Handbook.
At the University of Iowa College of Law, Professor
Ayers was valedictorian, Order of the Coif and served as a Comment Editor for
the Iowa Law Review.
