Donald E. Anderson recently re-established his practice as Don Anderson, P.C., with offices in Phoenix and Prescott. He was formerly Of Counsel in Buchalter Nemer’s Real Estate Practice Group in Scottsdale. The Scottsdale office of Buchalter Nemer is the successor to Anderson, Brody, Levinson, Weiser & Horwitz, P.A. which Professor Anderson founded in 1972. He specializes in real estate and construction construction law. He teaches a course on Creditors Remedies and participates in the Trial Advocacy Program at the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law.
Professor Anderson has served as a Judge Pro Tem on the Arizona Court of Appeals. He is a member of the Arizona Department of Real Estate Commissioner’s Select Committee on the Rules and Regulations and of the State Bar of Arizona’s Construction and Real Property Law Committees. He has been AV-rated by Martindale since 1982 and is the author of “Rolling Options, The Way to Buy Lots in the 90’s,” published in the Arizona Real Property Journal and “Buying Property in Mexico,” published in Arizona Business Magazine.
Professor Anderson served as Vice Chairman of the Aviation Bond Committee for the City of Phoenix, a as a member of the Executive Bond Committee for the City of Phoenix. He is currently a life member of the Phoenicians Committee (Chairman 2002) of the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce. He previously served as a director of the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce. He was a member of the Squaw Peak Freeway Advisory Committee to the Arizona Department of Transportation, which located and designed the current Piestewa Freeway.
He is a licensed pilot with more than 4,800 hours as Pilot in command. An avid sailor and scuba diver, during the winter and spring, he lives with his wife Linda aboard his Cal 2-46 sloop in Mexico. The rest of the year he lives and practices in Prescott and Phoenix Arizona.
